| Openreach have declared the following:
"It was widely reported that the UK was hit by severe weather conditions due to Storm Babet and Storm Ciaran. Sorm Ciaran mad landfall in south west and souther England overnight on Wednesday, 1 November 2023, prompting amber and yellow weather warnings from the UK Met Office. Consequently, the Openreach network was significantly affected, leading to high levels of fault intake and a substantial increase in repair work stacks in the most affected areas. Therefore, Openreach declared MBORC (Matters Beyond Our Reasonable Control) for repair activities related to WLR, LLU, FTTC and SOGEA services in Devon and Cornwall, effective from 23:59 on 3 November 2023. We are actively taking measure to expedite the recovery process. Our engineers have been working diligently to address the faults and the data indicates that, if clearances continue as forecasted, we may be able to lift the MBORC declaration early in the week of 13 November 2023." The Openreach network was impacted with high levels of fault intake and our repair work stacks, in the most affected areas, increased significantly. Openreach therefore declared MBORC for repair activities for WLR, LLU, FTTC and SOGEA for Devon and Cornwall, effective 23:59 on 3 November 2023. We've been taking steps to recover the position as quickly as possible and we're now able to remove MBORC for WLR, LLU, FTTC and SOGEA in Devon and Cornwall, with effect from 23:59 12 November 2023.
